The following price list is only indicative and is subject to
prior viewing of the actual work assignment.
In order to be acquainted with a more detailed estimate for a
translation please e-mail, fax or fill in the Estimate Form and send us the
translation or an abstract thereof. You’ll soon receive a range of
possibilities and advices with prices.
No sooner than you accept our estimate and want us to start
with the actual translation we kindly advice you to proceed with the payment.
All prices are net of VAT
(20% in Italy) and refer to a standard translated page of 25 lines,
A4 size sheet or alternatively they refer to a 1,500 characters unit
including spaces. The smallest assignment is one page independently of the
actual number of lines or characters.
How do
you get the exact number of pages to be translated?
This is very simple to obtain, you can try for yourself.
If you use Word as your Writing Programme first highlight
with you mouse the portion of text you want to know its number of characters,
then click Tool on the menu bar above the page and finally click on Word
Count (including spaces) and you get the number of characters you were
looking for. For the whole document you do not need to highlight the text as
you’ll get the overall number of characters by simply clicking on Tool
Ž
Word Count and then you can read in the small window called
Statistics your Characters (including spaces). By dividing the
figure obtained by the Standard Page you’ll finally obtain the exact number of pages your
translation consists of.

Note
A Sworn Translation requires a Government Stamp-Levied Tax
(Marca da Bollo) of € 14.62 to be applied on every fourth numbered page of
the translated document; say your translated document
consists of 11 pages, you are required to apply a Government Stamp on the
fourth, eighth and twelfth page (the twelfth page being the attached sheet
with the Statement of Oath Form released by the Law Court).
To sumarise: the final price for a Sworn Translation consists
of three parts.
i.)
The
price of the actual translation referred to the number of translated
pages;
ii.)
The
price of the legalisation of the translated document;
iii.)
The set of
Government Stamps as specified above.
